Sunday School for Youth is a program of Bible study and the application of the Bible to our daily lives. Separate classes for senior and junior highers meet at 9:30 on Sunday mornings during the school year.- Senior High Special Needs class meets on Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm.
- United Methodist Youth Groups for junior and senior high meet weekly for fellowship, service projects, discussion groups, learning programs, and games. Activities include overnights, retreats, service projects, and mission travel opportunities. Groups meet regularly on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. Times vary during the summer.
- Youth are involved at Saint John. Beans From Above, our coffee shop ministry, is run by the youth program with proceeds supporting their mission projects. Youth help run the sound system at all of our worship services, and regularly assist as liturgists and musicians during worship. Opportunities are also available for youth to do childcare at the church.
- Confirmation Classes for youth grades 7-12 who wish to learn more about their Christian faith meet regularly. Youth who complete the confirmation class and choose to make a commitment of faith are welcomed into full membership in the church.
- Boy Scout Troop 210 meets at Saint John UMC and is sponsored by the church.
