The old saying goes like this: “A camel is a horse designed by a committee!” here at Saint John, we have our share of committees, but we try to keep their work on target and meetings short. Still, the work of organizing a big church requires people in leadership roles to set directions and make things happen. We rely on our committee to make it all happen. A Church Council coordinates the larger work of all the various committees ranging from the Board of Trustees who manage property and legal issues, to the Staff Parish Relations Committee who are task with managing our employees, to the Finance Committee who help make sure we can pay for all we set out to do.
